Cartier scarves have long been desired for their quality and unique design work. This scarf is rare! The French Village "watercolor" scene with a story of village life in the pastoral countryside, framed by owls and roosters. In French mythology, owls symbolized wisdom & magic, while roosters stood for hope & faith, and became the symbol of the French nation.
 
100% Silk. Made in France, circa late 1980's. Feminine shades of blue with pink and gold. This is the large Cartier size (33" X 33") of heavy weight silk twill, with hand rolled and stitched hems. Scarf is large enough to wear as a head scarf or shoulder scarf.
 
Very fine vintage condition, unworn and like new, with Cartier tag, certificate & box. Cartier authenticity guaranteed.
